Thinly sliced cucumbers and onion tossed in tasty vinaigrette along with dill create this cooling classic side dish.  Cucumbers are an easy go-to vegetable with a delightful crunch. They are moisturizing and cooling as well as naturally refreshing. They assist in reducing blood pressure and water retention in the body. They also aid in urinary, bladder, and kidney function thereby detoxifying the blood. Red onions are naturally high in chromium which helps control blood sugar, curb cravings for carbohydrates, and fight body fat. They are also diaphoretic which flushes the pores of the skin to induce sweating which helps the body stay cool in the summer heat. Dill is a powerful digestive that feels light and helps to relieve tension. It helps to open and clear the sinus passageways and can liquefy mucus in the membranes.

Simple Keto Cucumber Salad

  • 2 long English Cucumbers
  • 1/8 cup Red Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill
  • 2 tablespoons Bragg Vinaigrette Dressing & Marinade


  • Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds. Thinly slice the red onion and chop the fresh dill. Mix cucumbers, onion, and dill in medium sized bowl.

  • Pour Bragg Vinaigrette Dressing & Marinade over vegetables and mix to coat.

  • Sprinkle some fresh dill on top and enjoy!
