Coffee alone is a very bitter, acidic and stimulating beverage, which means it can have a depleting effect on your body. But adding butter and coconut oil helps to reduce this. Grass-fed, organic butter and nourishing unrefined coconut oil both contain stable healthy saturated fats that soothe the nerves and protect the stomach lining. Grass-fed, organic butter is rich in Vitamin A, which is important for both adrenal and thyroid health. The addition of cinnamon brings a sweet taste to the beverage that helps to reduce the acidity of the coffee while regulating blood sugar levels and assisting in the metabolism of fats in the body, which may help with type II diabetes and insulin resistance. Cinnamon’s anti-microbial qualities also reduce gas and fermentation in the GI. Keto Coffee is a great way to safely enjoy a cup of coffee without getting overly stressed and depleting your adrenals.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Brewed Coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Grass-fed Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

  • 1)

    Brew a fresh pot of coffee and pour 12oz into a blender.

  • 2)

    Add coconut oil, butter, and cinnamon and blend until smooth.

  • 3)

    Pour into cup.  Sip and enjoy!

Notes

Mix ingredients by hand if no blender is available.
